Project: Airtight construction Hospital
Description: A specious new hospital building is constructed in the wooded area of Hilversum. The large window frames and use of natural materials connect the new building with the wooded area. This will contribute to a more positive experience for both the patients and visitors, making them feel safe and welcome.

The new hospital will be light and compact. The goal is to build the new hospital as sustainable as possible. The hospital even has the ambition to become the most sustainable hospital in the Netherlands. The Liquid Rubber products are used to meet the high airtight requirements. For example, all seams, window frames and joints are sealed with Liquid Rubber HBS200.

Parking garage

Project: Waterproofing parking garage
Description: Leakage in parking garages is a common problem. Leakage can cause a lot of damage and water damage can be a hefty job. The concrete deck of the parking garage gets exposed to a lot of water over the years. Therefore, it is very important that the deck is treated with a solid waterproofing layer.

The contractor chose Liquid Rubber because of its seamlessness and flexibility. The product can move along with the movements of the concrete. Liquid Rubber HBS200 was installed on all the pipes, upstands and dilatations before the entire deck was treated with a 2mm thick layer of Liquid Rubber BelowGrade. This will protect the vulnerable concrete against leakage. Asphalt will be installed on top of the installed membrane for the above-ground parking deck.
